Chase Mobile Banking App
Project Summary:
The Chase Mobile App Redesign is a self-initiated UX case study exploring how mobile banking could be reimagined for clarity, efficiency, and personalization. This redesign introduces a simplified, modern interface while preserving Chase’s brand identity, with the aim of improving everyday banking tasks like payments, transfers, and balance tracking.
The Challenge:
The original Chase app is robust but often dense, with fragmented flows and limited personalization. This redesign focused on streamlining the interface to minimize cognitive load and surface key features more effectively.
My Approach:
Refreshed the interface using a clean visual system with bold typography, consistent spacing, and simplified controls.
Designed a dynamic homepage that prioritizes commonly accessed tools and displays personalized insights (e.g. monthly spend, savings goals).
Redesigned Zelle, transfers, and bill pay into one-touch actions with better visual grouping and button affordance.
Created a unified layout for balance overviews, transaction history, and scheduled payments to reduce friction in key banking tasks.
Outcome:
This project demonstrates your ability to critique and reimagine existing digital products using modern UX principles. It reflects thoughtful application of hierarchy, navigation logic, and visual clarity within a high-stakes, user-sensitive context like banking.
